Forty years ago, my father, Sidney Solomon, started his accounting practice as a sole practitioner. When my brother and I both became CPA’s, it was always assumed that he would become partners with my father. To the surprise of my father, it was I, Laurie Solomon, who joined his practice and became a shareholder in our corporation, Solomon & Company CPA, Inc. When my father passed away in 2020, I knew I wanted our company to continue his strong commitment to quality by dedicating ourselves to shared traditions and values, customer service, compassion, loyalty, trustworthiness and long-term friendships.
